Central de Aceros y Metales is a Mexican company with over 20 years of experience in the field of recycling, buying non-hazardous metal waste, mainly special alloys.
Our work as pickers began in the Mexico City. Today, Central de Aceros y Metales has operations throughout Mexico.
Currently, DCORAlloys is part of Central de Aceros y Metales as a company dedicated solely to international operations, this allows us to be at the forefront as recyclers, mostly in special alloys.

Special alloys are classified using ASTM standards.

We have the right equipment to ensure that the alloys meet the standard safety. All parts are subjected to a chemical analysis using a portable spectrometer and are then classified using the ASTM standards.
In DCORAlloys we ensure that the pieces are within acceptable limits of radiation using a geiger counter.
The pieces are cuted using plasma cutters.
Depending on the type of piece and later use, it can be submitted to a blasting process.
We have a laboratory to analyze small samples of metals. We issue certificate of chemical composition to ensure the quality of our alloys.

What is Tungsten Carbide ?
Tungsten Carbide is one of the toughest industrial compounds in the world. It is mainly used as cutting tools for the manufacture of machine parts and precise finishing . It is so tough that it is necessary to heat it to a temperature of 6,000 ° C to achieve boil ( the approximate temperature of the sun's surface ).
This material can be found not only in industrial use , it is also used in the home , the military , sports and jewelery , uses ranging from balls of ink in the pens , even in military tanks , as anti personnel ammunition.
Dust from this material can be harmful to health , so it is recommended to handle it with extreme caution , since in prolonged exposure, can cause fibrosis or cancer.
